The Provost’s Office Faculty Mentoring Program facilitates all of the mentoring activities at UT Dallas. In partnership with the Senate Committee on Faculty Mentoring as well as Center for Teaching and Learning, the Faculty Mentoring Program is a robust and centralized program that supports all faculty at all levels of their careers in all aspects of career development.
The mission of the Provost’s Office Faculty Mentoring Program is to provide a system of support for faculty to help them develop professionally and personally. This program will contribute to improving recruitment and retention of faculty and enhancing the academic climate at The University of Texas at Dallas. The program offers mentored guidance on research, teaching and service, facilitated networking opportunities and sharing of best practices, and provides outlets for psychosocial support. This program is based on the principles of mutual trust, respect, cooperation and inclusion.
We are located in the Provost’s Office in the Administration Building (AD).
