Is there a way to view and compare the proposal routing flow of different types of requests from start to finish?
Yes, the visual flow chart will assist users to understand the internal and external governance process at a glance.
My school/program is interested in creating a new degree proposal but I am not sure where to start.

What is an assessment plan as required for the new program proposal process?
An assessment plan that includes student learning outcomes must be included in new degree and academic certificate program proposals. For additional assistance, you may review the Academic Assessment page and email Dr. Gloria Shenoy or call 972-883-6786.
I heard it may take months to get internal and external approval for a new degree program. Is that true?
Yes, it could take several months or more than a year to obtain the needed approvals from internal UT Dallas governance committees and external agencies depending on the type of request. We recommend you start your request as soon as possible to minimize delays.
I would like to change an existing course to a core course. What do I need to do?

I am still not clear on academic certificates or digital badges. Who can I talk to have a better understanding?

The THECB form requires the number of degrees awarded and the number of enrollments from peer institutions. I am not sure how to find the information.
