Education in healthcare management prepares students with the knowledge and expertise required to become effective leaders and skilled decision makers within the healthcare industry.   Upon successful completion of the BS Healthcare Management degree program, students will be equipped with the following skills:

• Evaluate the delivery of healthcare in regards to cost, access, and quality
• Identify complex problems, evaluate options and strategically make decisions
• Analyze healthcare revenues cycles and recommend solutions
• Explain “meaningful use” of information technology and the implications for healthcare organizations
• Examine the impact of government regulations and industry standards within the U.S. healthcare industry
