Several Part-time and Senior Lecturer positions are available in Mathematical Sciences, to begin in Spring 2012. A master's degree in the Mathematical Sciences, or closely related field, is required. A PhD in Mathematical Sciences is preferred. Candidates must have teaching experience at the university level, devotion to quality teaching, good communication skills, and an experience in using technology in a classroom environment.

UTD is strongly committed to uniform teaching standards and full course coordination in all multi-section courses with common examinations and graded homework assignments. We also support the technological enhancement of math instruction through the usage of online homework/quizzes/exams platforms.

Duties of new instructors will consist primarily of teaching undergraduate and non-major graduate courses in Mathematical Sciences, developing online problem/solution database, and working together with other instructors on course development.

Compensation and work load will be competitive with respect to qualifications.
