Senior Lecturer Position in Geosciences (pnm140429)
The Department of Geosciences at UTD is seeking applicants for a Senior Lecturer position to begin September 1, 2014. At the time of employment, applicants should have a PhD in the Geosciences and should be qualified to teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in general geology, geospatial methods, and geological and geophysical field methods. Preference will be given to applicants with the capacity to manage research studies using integrated geological and geophysical acquisition and analysis tools.
Review of applicants will begin immediately. Applications submitted for this position will be valid through August, 2015, at which time all application materials will be archived and new positions will be posted for the new academic year. Official transcripts must be submitted to the Faculty Records Office prior to the first day of official employment for those applicants selected to teach at the University.
