The University of Texas at Dallas High Energy Physics group is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Post Doctoral Research Scientist to participate in the ATLAS experiment at CERN.

The UTD group is participating in upgrade activities of the ATLAS Pixel detector and its Insertable B Layer in preparation for LHC Run 2, as well as ATLAS operations at Point 1. The successful candidate will be based at CERN. In addition to operational activities and shift work, s/he would be expected to join the group's physics analysis efforts, and s/he would take a leading role in the search for lepton jets and other possible dark matter signatures. The UTD group operates its own Tier3 GRID cluster for physics analysis. Applicants should have a PhD in high energy physics with experience in data analysis at a hadron collider. The successful candidate should have completed his/her PhD by the date of appointment.
