The Department of Chemistry at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for two tenure/tenure-track faculty positions in the area of materials chemistry, including biomaterials, to begin Fall 2013. One appointment is anticipated to be at the senior level, while the second at the Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates are expected to establish a nationally recognized, externally funded research program, teach courses, and direct research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates that could support the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics' initiative in "Basic Energy Sciences" are particularly encouraged to apply.
