The Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas is seeking to fill one tenure-track faculty position at the (untenured) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR RANK. The position is housed in the Organizations, Strategy, and International Management (OSIM) area. Applicants must have a completed PhD in a related discipline (ABDs need not apply). Applicants must have a strong record or potential for publication in the A journals in entrepreneurship and related areas-specifically the list of 24 journals underpinning the UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™ (see top100.utdallas.edu). A secondary interest in research and teaching in organizational behavior, organization theory, strategic management, and/or international management is preferred but not required.

The OSIM area covers the following domains: organizational behavior, organization theory, strategic management, international management, and entrepreneurship. Our faculty have repeatedly published in leading management journals including: Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. The OSIM area has an active PhD program and offers a variety of courses for the master's and undergraduate programs that reflect the challenges of managing in a dynamic, global environment. The OSIM area also houses the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UT Dallas.

The Jindal School of Management (JSOM) is the largest school within UT Dallas with an enrollment of more than 6,000. Based on publications in 24 top journals tracked by the UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™, JSOM ranks 15th in research productivity in North America during 2007-2011. Financial Times ranks our research productivity 20th worldwide. U.S. News and World Report ranks our full-time MBA program among the top 12 public universities and our undergraduate program among the top 15 public universities. Bloomberg Businessweek ranks both our part-time MBA program and Executive MBA (EMBA) program No. 10 among public universities.
