The Economics Program invites applications for up to three positions at the rank of advanced assistant, associate or full professor. Applicants must have completed a PhD in economics at the time of application, possess evidence of high-quality teaching for a minimum of two years post-PhD and have a record of high quality publications commensurate with the rank of appointment. The ideal candidate should have research interests that have the potential for productive interaction with existing faculty. Preference will be given to those who currently teach in the PhD core, have demonstrated a capacity for PhD supervision and placement as well as successful grant procurement. Macroeconomics applicants must have a research profile that is policy-relevant, data-intensive and reliant on econometric methodology.
