The Electrical Engineering Department at UT Dallas invites faculty applications in the area of Cochlear Implants and Speech Processing for Hearing Aids. Focus is on signal processing for cochlear implants, as well as speech processing advancements which extend the state-of-the art in hearing aid research. Research experience should include expertise in signal processing applied to speech, hearing science, physiology of hearing and engineering advancements for medical implant devices which aid in addressing hearing loss. Expertise required in both algorithms and systems that will contribute to applications relating to emerging healthcare domain.
