The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science is conducting a search for a candidate focused on signal processing for cochlear implants, as well as speech processing advancements which extend the state-ofthe art in hearing aid research. Research experience should include expertise in signal processing applied to speech, hearing science, physiology of hearing and engineering advancements for medical implant devices which aid in addressing hearing loss. Expertise is desirable in both algorithm development and system design that will contribute to applications relating to emerging healthcare domains.
