The Electrical Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Dallas invites faculty applications in the area of Computer Engineering / Architecture. Focus is on computer architecture, digital systems, and general area of computer engineering with the ability to collaborate and engage in emerging areas such as medical and bioengineering applications, ubiquitous networking, mechatronics and energy.
The University of Texas at Dallas is situated in Richardson, one of the most attractive suburbs of the Dallas metropolitan area with several hundred high-tech companies within a few miles of the campus. Opportunities for joint university-industry research projects are excellent.
Qualified candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education, and the potential to develop an externally funded research program. Candidates for positions at the Associate or Full Professor level must have an outstanding record of scholarly and professional achievements.
