The School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas seeks a half-time Research Scientist. The Research Scientist will conduct developmental screenings of infants and toddlers 0 to 36 months and advise their parents about ways to optimize the children's development, given results of the screenings. When the screenings indicate need for further services, appropriate referrals will be made. This clinical work will be conducted with low income predominantly Spanish-speaking children and their families, which will require the development and maintenance of good collaborative working relationships with early intervention agencies in the community who are working with these young children and their families, with pediatricians and hospitals serving the population, and with other appropriate organizations who can help facilitate and support this important work.

The qualifications for this position are a M.A. in School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Counseling Psychology, or Early Childhood Disorders. Four years assessment experience with children and community-based settings is preferred.
