The Psychological Sciences Program in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas seeks candidates for two positions in psychology -- one tenure-track assistant professor and one position with rank open. Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology or a closely-related field. The search committee will consider outstanding candidates from several areas of inquiry, including social development, health psychology, social psychology with a substantive focus on some aspect of health, or developmental psychobiology. Candidates with expertise in the developmental periods of infancy and/or adolescence will be preferred. We are also seeking candidates with expertise in advanced quantitative methods, specifically in structural equation modeling and multilevel modeling. Successful candidates must have demonstrated potential for obtaining extramural research funding and for excellent teaching.

The successful applicant will join the dynamic, interdisciplinary School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences with strengths in Developmental Psychology, Cognition and Neuroscience, and Communication Disorders.
