Part-time Lecturer in Creative Writing (paz130416)
The School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas is interested in obtaining Curriculum vitae and application letters from interested candidates for a possible adjunct lecturer position in Creative Writing. Interested candidates should hold an MFA and/or a PhD in creative writing or a related field, or they should have experiential qualifications (published books or a large body of other published work), and collegiate teaching experience. Areas of teaching fields should include at one or more of the following: prose fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, script writing for film, television, or the legitimate theater. Potential teaching assignments would vary between one and two classes per term depending on need and candidate qualifications.
Indication of gender and ethnicity for affirmative action statistical purposes is requested as part of the application. Official transcripts must be submitted to the Faculty Records Office prior to the first day of official employment for those applicants selected to teach at the University.
