Part-Time Lecturer in Communication (paj140116)

The School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas is interested in obtaining Curriculum vitae and application letters from interested candidates for a part-time lecturer position to teach Communication 1311, a basic/hybrid survey course at the undergraduate level, starting Fall 2014. COMM 1311 is a new core course that will be required for all students entering the University on the 2014-2016 catalog.

Applicants should possess a doctoral or master's degree and have experience teaching the basic/hybrid survey course at the university or community college level. Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching online communication courses.

Review of applicants will begin immediately. Indication of gender and ethnicity for affirmative action statistical purposes is requested as part of the application. Official transcripts must be submitted to the Faculty Records Office prior to the first day of official employment for those applicants selected to teach at the University.

Curriculum vitae, a letter of interest and descriptions of educational background and teaching experience, and at least three letters of reference should be submitted via the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM below.
