Information Resources provides campus wide support for computing, communications, and related technologies. It is headed by the Vice President and Chief Information Officer and is composed of four groups:
- Architecture and Infrastructure Services develops and implements infrastructure solutions in support of the mission of The University of Texas at Dallas.
- Enterprise Applications Services supports the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications.
- Networking and Telecommunications Services oversees the design, installation, traffic management, monitoring, maintenance, and support for the wired and wireless education and research networks on the main campus and at four remote locations.
- Technology Customer Services provides centralized support for all technologies currently offered or supported by Information Resources. TCS staffs the Help Desk (972.883.2911, phone; firstname.lastname@example.org, email) and computer labs and manages the online technical support pages.
