STAT 6331 - Statistical Inference I (3 semester hours) Introduction to fundamental concepts and methods of statistical modeling and decision making. Exponential families of models, sufficiency, estimation, hypothesis testing, likelihood methods, optimality, analysis of variance, linear models, decision theory.
